The geography of our planet has kept me occupied for decades and continues to enthuse me. More recently I’ve acquired the means to capture the high water line from an aerial perspective and I’ll happily walk that sandy / rocky / muddy coastline.
The ocean in particular has been my focus, my subject to observe and draw. For my working life started as a marine cartographer. This ocean mapping journey has taken me through organisations, offices, sectors and countries with colleagues and friends from each.
Many is a quick description of the links I have bookmarked, and each time a laptop expires or a desktop is updated I lose those links. My primary reason for making this website is to organise that collection of information, I was made for data management. Some of these links are related to my work while others are an interest into other professional areas, like geology. There’s links to literature in abundance too.
