Unmanned Aircraft System / Remotely Piloted Aircraft System
The term ‘Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) is used interchangeably with the term UAS. The CAA now considers RPAS as the preferred terminology, rather than UAS, because it is gender inclusive. However regulations use the term UAS.
